Sport Waitaki Tri Challenge 2025
Sport Waitaki's Tri Challenge is back for 2025!
This workplace and schools wellbeing event returns to Ōamaru on October 17, so it's time to rally your teams of three from your workplace (or school — years 9-13) to row, bike and run.
It's all about workplace wellbeing. Step out of the office for 30 minutes, get active and have some fun together as a team!
How it Works:
Teams of three will book a 30-minute time slot between 9am and 5pm on October 17. Each team member will complete one of the following:
It is adaptable for all abilities, and gives workplaces and schools the chance to get moving, connect as a team, and have fun — whether you’re in it to win or just taking part.
For the first time, we're introducing male, female, and mixed team categories — with trophies and bragging rights on the line for each. While there are winners in each category, the real goal is to get people moving, having fun, and feeling better together.
Money raised from this year's event will go to Sporting Chance and Able Minds, supporting tamariki, rangatahi and whānau through sport and mental health initiatives.
This event is made possible with the support of Snap Fitness Ōamaru. We are incredibly grateful for their support and ongoing commitment to helping our community stay active, connected and well.
