Virtual Triathlon

The Sport Otago Virtual Triathlon consists of a 1.5km row, 3km spin bike and 1.5km run in a team of 3 or as an individual. Schools and workplaces compete under the roof of Forsyth Barr stadium.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2023 Virtual Triathlon, Simon, William, and Chris from Aotea Electric who completed the course in a record time of 15.32 minutes.

Keep an eye on our website and Sport Otago Facebook page for registrations opening for the 2024 Virtual Triathlon.

Stride, Ride, and Slide

Stride, Ride and Slide is a mini triathlon for our little tamariki. 2 year olds through to 6 year olds stride their way around the field, before hopping on or pushing their bike along to the water slide to finish! A fantastic event for the whole family. Bring along a picnic to share afterwards and enjoy some food, drink and play options on offer.

Keep an eye on the Sport Otago website and Facebook page to see dates and details for the 2024 events.

Rainbow Run

The Night 'n Day Rainbow Run is a FUN event where you run or walk with family and friends around our marked out course and become your own work of art and you pass through our five colour checkpoints. Wear black or white clothing to really make the colour standout!

The coloured powder used is a food grade product so washes off clothes and bodies easily, but we suggest wearing older clothes and shoes so you don't mind getting a bit colourful!

Keep an eye on our website and Sport Otago Facebook page for dates and detail for our 2024 Night n’ Day Rainbow Run events in Dunedin, Balclutha, Central Otago and Oamaru.
