Volunteer To Help Sport PDF Print E-mail

volunteer_help_sport_pic_1Thanks very much!  One in three New Zealanders volunteers in some way to keep make sport and recreation thriving in this country.  No matter what you choose to do by being a volunteer you are helping to make Otago a better place to live and play.

If you're not sure what contribution you could make and want to talk it over, call our Sport Manager, Mike Weddell and he will be happy to help you find something that suits your interests and the amount of time you can spare.

If you live outside Dunedin you can also contact your local regional office for information on how you can help a local sporting club.

If you know what you'd like to do and just want to find the contact details for the relevant regional sporting body you want to help, click here.

Volunteers fill a wide range of valuable jobs in sport.  As well as the coaches and officials who run things on game day, there are plenty of people in the background keeping things running.  If you want more information on the types of important jobs volunteers can do that you could contribute to, click here to check out the SPARC (Sport And Recreation New Zealand) Club Kit.
