New to the district, Kate is enjoying meeting all those involved with sport in the area and is impressed by the range of sports and activities available in the Waitaki.
Originally from Christchurch, Kate completed a double degree in Physical Education and Commerce at the University of Otago, graduating in 2008. She returned to study in 2011 and completed her Teaching Diploma back in her home-town.
Her interests in sports spread far and wide and she enjoys participating in a range of social leagues in Oamaru. Kate is also familiarising herself with the great walking and running tracks on offer in the area. |
