Having recently emigrated from the UK, Kimberley joined Sport Otago in November 2009 as the new Active Families Coordinator. In her new role she aims to support young children and their families make positive changes towards achieving a healthier and more active lifestyle. Coming from a community sport background, Kimberley was a sports development officer at Newcastle University promoting and delivering activity programmes to young people from disadvantaged areas. Kimberley played Division 3 badminton for Wellington in 2002 and has competed regionally back in the UK. She also enjoys running, swimming and has recently taken up golf. |
