Information: Kelvin "Tiny" Carruthers is the Sport Clutha District Coordinator. This position has been established to directly address the sport and physical activity needs of the Clutha community and co-ordinate access to the wide range of programmes and services available through Sport Otago. Tiny is well known in the Clutha District having lived in the area for his entire life, with the exception of one year spent travelling overseas. He has been heavily involved in sport during that time having coached rugby for the past two decades. Sport plays an important part in the Carruthers family life, with wife Marg and daughters Laura, Grace and Claudia all being involved in various sporting pursuits including netball, swimming, tennis and athletics.
