Information: Megan grew up in Kaitangata, South Otago, and after attending Dunedin Teachers College in the early nineties she returned to Kaitangata for the majority of her time as a primary school teacher. Whilst in South Otago she was heavily involved in local tennis and also played netball. She is also a keen member of the South Otago Theatrical Society. Megan is currently employed as the Programme Development Co-ordinator for Life Education Trust NZ, an organisation dedicated to encouraging the young people of New Zealand to live happy, healthy, fulfilled lives. Her previous position was the educator for the Heartland Otago Southland Life Education Trust Inc. which serviced primary schools covering a wide area including Lakes District, West Otago, South Otago, Central Otago and the Maniototo. Megan was an active member of the Heartland Life Education Trust assisting in fundraising, promotion and profile development as well as her work with the schools and students. Sport Otago is an organisation she is proud to be involved with, strongly supporting the mission of encouraging Otago people to live healthy, active lives.
