Bridget is the Sport Opportunity Advisor for Sport Otago. Her role is to ensure that people with disability can participate in sport and physical activity. Key components to this position are to identify, develop and promote physical activity events that encourage participation and ensure that where possible that all age groups, all levels of abilities are catered for. Bridget's background is in the disability sector where she spent a number of years as the Regional Coordinator for CanTeen (Teenage Cancer Patients). She is passionate about creating opportunities for people of all levels of ability. Bridget is active in the Waitati community where she lives and can often be found at the beach enjoying what the environment has to offer. |
