Now is the time to give some richly deserved thanks to those valuable people who help keep sport thriving in Otago, our volunteer coaches. The SPARC Volunteer Coach of the Year Awards are a chance for us to give something back to those coaches who give so much and ask so little in return. They may not coach for the recognition, but will can still give it to them!
Active Movement is all about encouraging physical activity and movement for young children. Over the next few months Sport Otago will be running a range of Active Movement workshops ideal for parents and those working in the early childhood sector.
Please put the above dates in your diaries! We are looking for volunteers to help us with the Australia New Zealand Cup Finals. Please consider giving up a day or two of your time to work as a volunteer on the course if you are able to.
The Dunedin City Council is holding community consultation meetings about playgrounds in the Corstorphine and Brighton areas. Members of these communities are encouraged to attend and share their opinions.
